Everett Johnson – Knoxville, Tennessee

A grandson. That is how Everette Johnson became Santa Claus. At the urging of his first grandson in 1994 and being a little unsure, Everette slipped on the red suit for the very first time. Today he keeps that tradition going with appearances all over the greater Knoxville, TN area.

His special area of Santa Claus-ing is charitable organizations such as his church’s world mission along with others that include Mobile Meals, Empty Stocking, Mission of Hope, Big Brothers and Big Sisters just to mention a few.  Everett also visits each of the Knox County, TN libraries. These visits are free and open to the public and promote how important it is reading with a child is.

Along with all the charity work, he makes private appearances at home and parties. One party is Bush’s Bean employee party where he gets to work alongside of “Duke the Dog” and entertain guests. Sharing the love and keeping Santa tradition in Knoxville, TN is Everett’s mission.
